Well, my first week is almost over! It was very hard cutting out sugar and sticking to my plan; much harder than I remember the first time I did this. There were far too many Christmas goodies still laying around, both at work and home. I struggled to keep myself in check, and felt like I failed every time I indulged.
However, I'd wake up every morning and remind myself that it's a new start, and I can't be too hard on myself; I was making great progress.
All of my meals, except two of them, were prepped at home with minimally processed foods. My bloat has practically gone away, and my GI discomfort from my last diet I tried, as well as the rich holiday foods is gone too! I don't feel like there's been any weight change yet, but I'm hoping to see on the scale Monday morning that I did not gain anything. Guess we will find out!

The herbs that were used were different than I thought would be in the ingredients list, however, it turned out VERY SIMPLE, and incredibly delicious!
